What is the difference between the packages?

The primary difference between each package is the canvas size, which directly impacts the level of detail. All canvases are large-scale, ensuring a high degree of realism and refinement. However, larger canvases provide greater flexibility for capturing expansive landscapes, intricate surroundings, and more detailed portraits. The more space available, the more depth and nuance can be incorporated into the painting, allowing for a richer and more immersive composition.

What scene can you paint?

I can paint any moment from your special day—whether it’s the ceremony, first kiss (a favorite!), grand exit, first dance, or any scene you cherish. She can also include special elements like a beloved pet or a passed loved one. While she captures the moment live as it happens, a special photoshoot can also be arranged to ensure every detail is just right. Any special requests can be discussed during your consultation!

Do you travel?

Yes! I mainly serve NC, and I do a limited number of out of state and international weddings a year!

Travel fees for neighboring state weddings start at $1,200.

Travel fees for out-of-state weddings start at $1,800.

Travel fee for international weddings start at $2,800.

How far in advance should I book?

Peak season months (March-May & September-November) tend to book out 12-18 months in advance. I am usually fully booked 6-months in advance. Once you have booked your venue, I recommend getting in touch!

How do I book?

1. Leave me an inquiry with information about your wedding day.

2. If I am available, I will respond to talk through the details with you, and then will issue your contract and invoice.

3. A 25% payment (plus any travel fees) and signed contract is required to complete the booking, and we will discuss a payment plan, with the remaining balance to be paid 14 days prior to the wedding.

How does live wedding painting work? Will it fit into our wedding schedule?

Each wedding is different and I make sure I work to your schedule for the day. We will have a full-consultation within the booking process, and 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding I’ll finalize these details with you.

In most cases, I arrive approximately 2 hours prior to the moment you wish to capture (e.g. your first look, or ceremony, or a photoshoot). During this time, I set-up and prepare your canvas. Typically the background will be mostly completed by the time your moment takes place (this varies with your vision).

When it is time to gather my reference photos for the painting, I’ll photograph the moment as it happens (e.g. a moment from your ceremony).

​I will then use my reference photos to paint from while your guests watch on.

At the end of the evening, or when I finish the painting, I will present to you your finished painting, and will then set it up for your guests to admire for the rest of the night. Then, it’s yours to take home and cherish forever.

If for any reason I need to take the painting home for touchups, allow 4 weeks to receive your completed painting.
